Communication Officer Requirements

To apply for a position with the Saddle River Police Department as a Communication Officer, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a United States Citizen

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency

  • Be of good moral character

  • Must be older than eighteen

  • Have not been convicted of a crime

  • Must possess a valid New Jersey Drivers License

  • Must have good communication skills

  • Be able to type on a computer keyboard

  • Must be familiar with Windows based application software
